At LA Dog Training, we strive to provide reward-based training to build a relationship of trust and respect between you and your dog. LA Dog Training was founded on the belief that not all dogs are born equal. They each have their own unique traits and mannerisms, and therefore require their own unique and specialised training. That’s where we come in!
Whether it’s for basic manners or more complex behavioural issues, we are focused on not only training your dog, but teaching you how to effectively communicate with them. This method of training is full of fun techniques that will give you and your dog a happier life together.
Amy Robinson
Amy has spent most of her life around dogs and horses, and after years of office work she decided to get back to her true passion, all things dog!
Amy holds a Canine Behaviour Training Diploma and has completed many courses including Canine Bonding and Play, Canine Enrichment and Canine Communication.
Amy is also enrolled in the Absolute Dogs Pro Dog Trainer course beginning this summer.
In addition, Amy holds a certificate in Advance Animal First Aid and is a fully qualified Canine Hydrotherapist, giving her unique experience with dogs with various conditions and those that are in pain.
Having spent the first few years of her working life working in various stables, and having had 2 horses of her own Amy has many years experience in caring for horses and ponies.
DOG TRAINING SERVICES
INITIAL CONSULTATION
All new clients are invited to book an initial consultation so we can assess your dog, discuss your needs and goals, and to formulate a training plan to address any issues and make the most out of the relationship with your dog. £100
TRAINING/BEHAVIOUR SESSIONS
From basic obedience to dealing with behavioural issues, our one on one sessions will be designed around your dog to get the very best from each session. £50 per session or book a block of 3 for £125
WORKSHOPS
Scent work, loose lead walking, recall and enrichment workshops are held regularly, allowing you to try out new skills and work your dog around distractions in a safe and controlled environment
£50, max 4 per session.
TRAINING/BEHAVIOUR WALKS
Whether it's loose lead walking, recall, or another issue, our training walks are one on one walks for the times you are unable to train with your dog. Aims will be discussed before hand and updates given after each session. £30
PET CARE SERVICES
We want our clients to feel confident taking care of their pets no matter where they are. From dog walking, small animal care to equine services, you can be confident your animals are in safe hands.
DOG WALKING
Fun, engaging countryside walks. Group walks £12, 1 on 1 walks £15
SMALL ANIMAL CARE
Feeding cats, rabbits, other small animals, cleaning out of hutches/enclosures. Drop in visits for puppies and older dogs who can't go for walks. £8 - £15
GROOM SERVICES
Turn out, mucking out, exercising and general yard duties. £15 P/H
